Welcome to the LGPS School Counselor's Corner

Hello! I am Miss B and I am so excited to be your new School Counselor! I spent the last 8 years as a self contained Special education teacher. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Community Care and Counseling with a focus in Trauma. I believe that every person has an important role in this world and deserves to feel seen, heard and important! It is my goal to make those around me feel that way.  During my free time, I enjoy spending time outside with my family, friends and beloved dog Sullivan! 

Hello, I am Mrs. Jackson, a school counselor here at LGPS. I am beginning year 32 in education, year 5 as a school counselor. My previous years were spent in the classroom teaching. I am excited about being in one location this year. The last four years were spent as a counselor here at LGPS, and also at LGES. I look forward to working with the students and families here at LGPS again this year. When I am not at school, I like to spend time with my family (I have four grandchildren), reading, and enjoying outdoor activities.
