Volunteer Opportunities at LGPS
The Orange County School Board supports and encourages the active participation of parents and members of the community in providing and extending educational opportunities for children. The involvement of parents, volunteers and others in the community who can serve as a resource to schools is a fundamentally important component of successful school programs.
LGPS is looking for volunteers for the 2023-24 School year in the following areas:
- Breakfast Buddy Mentors
- Lunchroom Monitoring
- Copying Materials for Staff
- Clerical Assistance for Teachers
- One-on-One or Small Group Tutoring
- Project Excell Tutors through the Office on Youth
